• Premium Voice. A lifelike female or male voice in 10 languages. Listen to 5 minutes of a book first; if you love it, buy that book in that voice. What you have heard stays on your phone for offline listening, or download the whole book. Prices are shown in the app.

Premium Voice sends the text being read to our narration provider to make the audio. The text is not stored.

Lost track of who Mr. Collins is? Say "Hey Reader" and ask. It stops, answers out loud, and picks up where it left off when you say "continue".

For walks, cooking and falling asleep

• Speed from 0.5x to 2x.
• A sleep timer.
• Lock-screen controls, and it pauses when your headphones come out.
• Long-press a book on your shelf and choose Listen as Audiobook to pick up from the last sentence.
